A Day to Remember
A day filled with meaningful moments for Persons Living with Dementia, organised by SportCares' youth!

“A Day to Remember” is a half-day carnival for seniors with dementia and their families. Designed as a safe and inclusive space, the event features engaging activities, and allows families and caregivers of PLWDS (Persons Living with Dementia) to meet others like themselves—forming connections and becoming a source of reassurance that they are not alone.
The event is a community initiative driven by youth leaders from the SportCares Champions Leadership Programme (SCLP), many of whom came from core programmes such as Saturday Night Lights (SNL) and Let’s SEPAK. Through “A Day to Remember,” these youths gain leadership and organisational skills.
Our youth in action!
As part of the SportCares journey that youths undertake in the course their selected programme, they are required to volunteer their time with us for social causes such as this. Select group of individuals from various programmes are identified as champions to organised these grounds-up initiatives. Learn more about the programmes curated for our youths below!
