'CCEs - by NROC Coaches, for NROC Coaches' Programme 

The Key International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Table Tennis Rules and Regulations for Open Tournaments and MOE Inter-School Championships

(For NROC Table Tennis Coaches)


This workshop is primarily catered for table tennis coaches currently coaching in MOE school competitions. However, other table tennis coaches who are interested to attend are welcomed to join in as well.

The objectives of this workshop are to:

  1. Update coaches on the basic table tennis rules and ITTF regulations
  2. Update coaches on the specific rules and regulations in MOE Inter-School Championships
  3. Identify the usual wrongdoings of players / coaches during competition

At this workshop, participating coaches will have the opportunity to role-play different roles in table tennis competitions, such as coach, player, umpire and spectator.

Participating coaches should:

  • Be dressed in sporting attire; and
  • Bring along their own table tennis rackets and balls

About the NROC Coach Presenter

This workshop will be conducted by Ms Chan Lai Sze Beatrice. Beatrice is an NROC Table Tennis coach with 6 years of sports coaching experience, having coached at a variety of settings including:

  • MOE schools
  • MOE Table Tennis Junior Sports Academy (JSA)
  • Sports Education Programme (SEP)

She also has umpiring experience as Chief Umpire of MOE Inter-School Championships and Deputy Referee at ASEAN School Games 2017, and is currently a member of Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) Technical & Officiating (T&O) Committee and Referee Team.
