Cardio Tennis Level 1 Training Course by Tennis Industry Association (TIA) (For all Tennis Coaches)


This course teaches the fundamentals of Cardio Tennis and how you can conduct the programme at your facility. It provides participants with understanding in the following areas:

  • What is Cardio Tennis – its purpose, benefits and components
  • Key ingredients of a healthy Cardio Tennis curriculum
  • Heart rate monitors: their importance and how to use them
  • Proper warm-up/cool-down activities, drills, techniques and exercises
  • Commercialisation of Cardio Tennis

The course will be presented by Ms Michelle Krause (Global Education Director, Cardio Tennis). Michelle has overseen the programme since its inception in 2005 and oversees the entire Cardio Tennis programme both in the US and internationally.

Participants are to turn up with tennis apparel and racquets as this is an on-court workshop. Please access this link for further course information. A certificate will be issued at end of the course.

Registration fee:

NROC coaches – USD$200 per pax

Non-NROC coaches and members of public – USD$225 per pax

The first 6 paid participants to enrol will each receive a free entry for Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Finals on 24 October 2016 (Monday)
