OCBC Cycle Singapore Clinic with Travis Woodford

Think cycling is just getting on a bike and going as far as you can? Well, think again!

A group of youth from the Springfield Secondary School got themselves a real taste of pro-cycling this afternoon at East Coast Park.

Team Singapore cyclist Travis Woodford shared tips with the youth on how to conquer the 27km OCBC Cycle Singapore 2014 Community Ride, on safety and gave an insight into the world of pro-cycling as well. He even shared with them the motivation techniques he uses when he’s out on a race.

And it got better for the boys when Travis took them out for a 10km ride to allow them to use the knowledge he shared with them. And boy, did they enjoy it! There was nothing but smiles on their faces when they got to the end point. All of them are real excited for the Community Ride that’s set to happen on the 30th of March. So keep an eye out for them! They are going to have a trick or two up their sleeves.”
