About the Presenter
This workshop will be presented by Mr Zenon Winters. Zenon has been playing softball for 32 years all around the world and represented the Australian Men’s team for 17 years. He was part of the 2009 team that won the World Men’s Championships where he played a major role as the team’s 3rd batter. He also represented the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) in the Australian Men’s Open Nationals, winning the title 6 times. Zenon is a regular in the ISC (International Softball Congress) circuit, where the best players in the world participate, and has made its All-World team 3 times from 2017 to 2019. He has won multiple MVP and batting awards as a player – most notably the Softball Australia Player of the Year Award in 2013.
Zenon began coaching 17 years ago and successfully coached Under-16 and Under-19 state teams to state titles. He was also a satellite coach for the Australian U19 team. In 2012, he started the A to Z Softball Academy with Adam Folkard (World No 1 pitcher) and worked with a range of athletes from beginners to international elite players.
