National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI) Youth Coaching Conference 2019

(For All NROC Coaches)


The theme for the NYSI Youth Coaching Conference 2019 is creating a nurturing environment for an athlete's long-term sporting success.

This 3rd edition will show participants an evidence-based approach to developing the physical performance of adolescent athletes. Youth coaches will also learn how to develop youth athletes in a holistic and long-term manner.

About the Presenters

The conference will feature the following presenters:

  • Mr Andrew Pichardo (Ph.D. Candidate in Youth Athlete Development, SPRINZ AUT)
  • Dr Israel Halperin (Senior Lecturer, Sylvan Adams Sports Institute and School of Public Health, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University)
  • Dr Wan Rizal (Senior Lecturer, Republic Polytechnic (RP))
  • Dr Nick Aplin (Senior Lecturer, Physical Education and Sports Science (PESS) & National Institute of Education (NIE))
