Introduction to Tchoukball Workshop (ITB)’ by Tchoukball Association of Singapore (TBAS)

(For All NROC Coaches)

Description

Introduction to Tchoukball workshop is a workshop open to everyone with or without prior knowledge about Tchoukball. Participants will be taken through a 2-hour hands-on session, where they get to learn more about the sport, it's origin and game play.

This workshop is a prerequisite to attend the International Tchoukball Federation (FITB) ‘C’ Licence Coaching Course.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon completion.

About the Presenter

This course is conducted by Mr Liao Jianxiong. Mr Liao has been an FITB ‘B’ Level coach since 2012. Besides coaching the national teams (e.g. M15 Boys, M12 Boys, Girls teams), he has also been coaching primary school to tertiary level players in the last 6 years. Some of Mr Liao’s Tchoukball coaching career highlights include winning Silver at the World Youth Beach Tchoukball Competition (M12 Boys and M12 Girls categories).

Besides coaching, Mr Liao also plays for the Singapore National Men’s Tchoukball Team. In the 2009 World Games, Mr Liao helped the Singapore Men’s Team to clinch a Bronze medal placing.
