This talk will cover the following topics:
- Nutrition for the youth endurance athlete by Ms Ng Ee Ling (Sport Dietitian, National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI))
- Nutrition for the adult endurance athlete by Ms Parimala Sivaperuman (Sport Dietitian, Singapore Sport Institute (SSI))
- Real Life Stories: Athlete Sharing by Dr Mok Ying Ren (Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Gold Medallists in Triathlon and Marathon)
About the Presenters
Presenters’ background is given below:
- Ms Ng Ee Ling (Sport Dietitian, National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI)) – Ee Ling is experienced with providing sports nutrition advice to National Youth athletes and Singapore Sports School (SSP) student-athletes.
- Ms Parimala Sivaperuman (Sport Dietitian, Singapore Sport Institute (SSI)) – Ms Parimala has extensive experience with youth and elite athletes of all sports particularly from cricket, fencing, hockey and shooting. She also is an adjunct lecturer on sports nutrition for Republic Polytechnic (RP).
- Dr Mok Ying Ren – Dr Mok is resident doctor in Orthopaedic Surgery at National University Health System. He is also a household name in Singapore Athletics having won the SEA Games Gold medals in Triathlon & Marathon
