Building an inclusive society through Sport

Since 2017, SportCares has led inclusion efforts in the community by promoting play and sport opportunities for persons with disabilities and special needs, including empowering those who can, to give back to the community.

Persons with Disabilities

Initiatives such as Play-Ability and Play Inclusive offer participants with sport opportunities that cater to the different levels and types of disabilities and needs. It also creates experiences that enable participants to grow and become more confident as they get connected to a supportive and empowered community.

In 2024, a refresh of the Disability Sports Master Plan (DSMP) was announced, aiming to build a more inclusive and sustainable sporting ecosystem for persons of all abilities through 10 strategic moves focusing on three key strategic themes, with partnerships being a key enabler.
