Community Futsal Programme
Building confidence through community futsal, building teamwork, resilience and character development.

About the Programme
Launched in 2017, the Community Futsal Programme (CFP) provides a safe and accessible space for children to play, learn, and grow through futsal. The weekly training programme is free-to-play in community venues such as futsal courts and Dual-Use Scheme (DUS) facilities. It also works closely with community partners to support families while nurturing character, teamwork, and resilience in young participants.
Children are given the opportunity to represent their centres in competitions throughout the year, culminating in the annual Community Futsal Cup.
CFP also serves as an important pathway for participants who later progress to Saturday Night Lights (SNL) when they enter secondary school.
Why CFP Matters
1. Accessible Sport in Community
Programmes are held near where families live, reducing barriers such as travel time and cost.
2. Stronger Network Support
CFP works closely with community partners and social service agencies who support participating families.
3. Developing Life Skills Through Sport
Children learn teamwork, resilience, discipline and confidence through regular training and competition.
