Singapore, 1 December 2025 - The second edition of the Singapore Urban Sports + Fitness Festival (SGUSFF) concluded on 30 November with record-breaking attendance, signaling the event’s position as Singapore’s premier urban sports and fitness celebration. Over three weekends, the festival drew its largest crowd ever, with more than 90,000 participants and spectators engaging in activities across the island from 14 to 30 November.
This year's festival significantly surpassed last year's impressive turnout of over 70,000 attendees, marking an approximate 30% increase and establishing SGUSFF as a key platform for bringing communities together through urban sports and fitness. This reflects the fast-growing interest in urban sports and fitness, particularly among youths, families, and sports enthusiasts eager to explore new and emerging sporting formats.
“The growth we’ve seen over the two editions demonstrates how SGUSFF has established itself as an anchor event in Singapore’s sporting calendar,” said Daryl Yeo, Chief, Industry Development Group at Sport Singapore. “What began as a showcase for urban sports and fitness-focused events has evolved into a platform that brings together international athletes and local communities. The strong turnout, coupled with our expanding roster of world-class partners, demonstrates a real appetite for these sports. This festival isn’t just about competition – it’s about building a legacy that will inspire the next generation of urban athletes.”
Featuring an expanded programme with over 20 partners across five venues, this year's festival included 10 new events, including international showcases that made its debut and brought world-class urban sports to Singapore.
The festival’s final weekend wrapped up with a spectacular finale that attracted over 45,000 participants across four halls and two atriums within Singapore Expo. The weekend was headlined by AIA HYROX Singapore, which drew over international competitors, including Netflix’s Physical: 100 and Physical: Asia star Kim Jae-hong (affectionately known as Amotti). The weekend also featured the inaugural World Rowing Super60 Singapore, making its international debut to celebrate the nation's 60th anniversary, alongside Singapore's first unified calisthenics national championships at Defy Gravity and The First Swing ninja obstacle challenge with Olympic Modern Pentathlon pathway links. Other activities that were part of the weekend activities include Singapore Armwrestling Open, Extinct Games Singapore International Strongman Competition and the Singapore Aerial & Pole Fiesta. The celebration concluded with the unique “A beans & beats Party: At the Ring” — Singapore's first alcohol-free "coffee-clubbing"/sober rave experience combining specialty coffee with underground music.
Youth At Play
SGUSFF 2025 significantly expanded its youth-centric programming, featuring enhanced age-specific competitions including Junior Pink Warriors 3x3 Camp (ages 8–14), ClimbFest’s VENGAFEST U19 Youth Competition and The First Swing: Ninja & Obstacle Challenge, which featured U19 Obstacle Course. These expanded youth pathways provided opportunities for kids and young adults to develop fundamental skills across emerging sport disciplines whilst building confidence and competence. Across the three-weekend events, youth participation reached over 65%, demonstrating the strong and growing interest among young people in urban sports and fitness.
The record-breaking attendance at SGUSFF 2025 demonstrates Singapore’s growing appetite for varied sports experiences—from competitive formats and street-level culture to community-driven fitness events. The festival’s success reinforces Sport Singapore’s commitment to expanding sporting opportunities, encouraging active lifestyles, and nurturing the next generation’s passion for sport.
