Singapore, 3 December 2025 – Almost 4,000 participants took part in the first four sessions of ActiveSG’s inaugural Active Fest, reflecting a strong demand for sport and fitness activities among ActiveSG members as the year comes to a close. Organised by Sport Singapore (SportSG), Active Fest provides unlimited access to a variety of sport and fitness trial sessions for just a $5 registration fee, fully redeemable with ActiveSG credits.
Mr Tan Hock Leong, Chief, ActiveSG, Sport Singapore, commented, “Active Fest was introduced to make sport and fitness more accessible and to encourage everyone to try something new. It’s been inspiring to see families, friends, and communities coming together to discover different ways to stay active. We hope this spirit continues, motivating Singaporeans to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Active Fest is committed to showcasing a diverse range of activities and programmes, proving that there truly is a sport for everyone.”
Islandwide Accessibility Across Four Venues
Across the month of November, Active Fest took place at four different ActiveSG Sport Centres – Delta Sport Centre (1 November), Woodlands Sport Centre (2 November), Choa Chu Kang Sport Centre (8 November) and Heartbeat@Bedok (16 November) – across the island, catering to members of the public living in various parts of Singapore and making offerings accessible for all. The event also consisted of a range of fringe activities for the whole family, such as archery, basketball and miniature golf.
Final Active Fest Session For The Year Features Wide Range of Fitness Activities
To close off the year’s series, a fifth and final Active Fest session will be happening at Bishan Sport Centre on 6 December 2025, from 9am to 3pm, with fitness trials for popular activities such as Pilates, Yoga, and Zumba, as well as novel programmes such as Bbarreless, FIGHT DO, and Piloxing – offerings that integrate multiple elements such as high-intensity interval training, kickboxing, martial arts or yoga into a single class for a more holistic and diverse workout. For the little ones, football trials are available for children aged seven to 12, while all dance-inspired offerings at the stadium foyer are also open to children when accompanied by an adult.
These trial sessions provide a glimpse into the new programmes available at various ActiveSG Sport Centres in the weeks to come, with offerings spanning single-session school holiday programmes to longer-term fitness courses that run between four to 12 weeks. Collectively, more than 110 fitness activities and sport trials were made available for participants to try out at Active Fest, with Zumba, KPop Fitness, and Yoga proving to be the most popular.
For the upcoming Active Fest session at Bishan Sport Centre, sure-win prizes are available for those who register for their preferred programmes on-site. Exclusive ActiveSG premiums will also be available for those who attend, with new ActiveSG members receiving a welcome gift upon joining.
