Tactical Strength and Conditioning Certification Programme by Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)
(For All NROC Coaches)
The course will deliver topics ranging from physical assessment requirement to the occupation lifespan (i.e. special ops, fireman) and to considering occupational specific requirement (e.g. load carriage). Using an approach focused on translating research evidence to practice, the course considers the latest scientific literature as well as a pragmatic approach to implementation.
This course is suitable for SAF, SCDF, HomeTeam, private special operations providers, sports coaches and fitness instructors.

Bond University TACOPS Certificate of Completion and NP Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance.
This course is claimable using SkillsFuture Credit.
Participants should have basic understanding of strength and conditioning methods.
About the Course Presenter
This course is conducted by Dr. Rob Orr (Educational Director (Tactical Strength and Conditioning – Australia), Co-Lead (Bond University Tactical Research Unit) and Section Editor for Australian Strength and Conditioning Journal and NSCA TSAC Report).
Dr. Orr has working experience primarily in the military, where he served various roles such as infantry soldier, Physical Training Instructor (PTI), military physiotherapist and Human Performance Officer.
