Title
CoachSG – ‘Future of Coaching’ Engagement Session
(Open to all Sport Coaches in Singapore)
Description
Through a series of engagement sessions, CoachSG aims to actively involve coaches in the design of the professional development opportunities and programmes so that they are relevant and impactful in enhancing our coaches’ competency and in doing so, raise the profile of sport coaching in Singapore.
Key objectives of this session are:
-
To enable coaches to have a basic understanding of CoachSG’s strategy, formal and non-formal coach development programs
-
To obtain ideas and feedback on what programmes coaches would like to see from CoachSG and what support they need to develop their own competencies
-
To help coaches understand policy enhancements in the National Registry of Coaches (NROC)
-
To obtain feedback from coaches on the challenges they face and the support they need in career development and employment through a dialogue with CoachSG and the Singapore Coaches Association (SCA)
