BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global Tennis Coaches Conference 2016

This event is the 3rd edition of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global Tennis Coaches Conference. The previous 2 sessions were held in 2014 and 2015.

This year’s event, themed ‘The Developmental Years’, consists of a full-day seminar followed by a half-day on-court demonstration with the world’s best coaches and industry experts. It will feature a holistic panel of established speakers including:

  • Arantxa Sánchez Vicario – an accomplished legend in women’s tennis, Arantxa’s achievements include 14 Grand Slam titles, 29 WTA Singles titles and 69 WTA Doubles titles during the course of her sporting career. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007.
  • Dr. Ann Quinn – CEO, Quintessential Edge. Ann possesses a long track record of creating winners and possesses diverse background in various sports science disciplines. She has held leadership positions in coaching and sports science in Australia, United Kingdom and the United States.
  • Kathy Martin – Senior Director (Athlete Assistance), WTA and Player Welfare Officer, International Tennis Federation (ITF). As a mental health counsellor and sports physiotherapist, she has 30 years of experience in elite sports and expertise in the health and well-being needs of adolescent and young adult athletes.
  • Kathleen Stroia – Senior Vice President (Sport Sciences and Medicine and Transitions), WTA Tour. Kathleen possesses educational background in sports sciences, athletic training and physical therapy from United States educational institutes. Kathleen has been a key contributor in WTA health and medical services for WTA.
  • Antoni Girod – Managing Partner, Halifax Consulting (APAC) and Founder, Tennis Mental Academy. Antoni is a worldwide mental training expert in sports with more than 15 years of experience of teaching applied psychology and communications at various French universities. Antoni has also worked with top athletes in various sports such as athletics, sailing, free diving and tennis.

Up to 10 hours
