Title

Basketball – Attacking a Zone by Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS)

(For NROC Basketball Coaches only)

Description

Our own National Men’s Team Head Coach and Technical Director Frank Arsego would be holding a basketball clinic to share skills and techniques to attack a zone defence.

Please be dressed in your sporting attire to attend this session.

Speaker's Profile

Frank Arsego, whose 30-year coaching career includes heading the Australian Institute of Sports (AIS) basketball team for seven years (1996-2003), the New Zealand Breakers (2003-2005) and Singapore Slingers (2008-2010). During Arsego’s time at the AIS, he was responsible for the development of more players who represented Australia than almost any other coach in the programme’s history.

Players like Brad Newley, Daniel Kickert, Aleksander Maric, Rhys Carter, Ian Crosswhite, Oscar Forman, Jacob Holmes, Aaron Bruce and Damian Martin have all made appearances for the Australian national team after leaving the AIS and his tutoring helped propel NBA stars Andrew Bogut, David Andersen and Luke Schenscher to overseas success.
