“Sports Taping Workshops” by Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (For All Coaches)


The two-level workshop provides an overview of sports taping theory and techniques with applications and interactive workshops on upper and lower limb taping techniques. The course covers both rigid and elastic taping; it does not cover kinesiotaping.

Level 1 covers an introduction to principles of taping and anatomy/injuries, as well as hands-on workshops in rigid taping and bandaging for the ankle, fingers and muscle strains.

Level 2 covers hands-on practicals focusing on rigid and elastic taping for the shoulder, thumb, knee and ankle. Challenges to taping and alternatives to taping, such as guards/braces, will also be discussed.

Both workshops will be facilitated by Senior Physiotherapists from Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Level 2

31 October 2015 (Saturday), 1pm – 5pm

Completion of Level 1 is a prerequisite for attending Level 2.

Upon registration, participants will receive an invoice on course fee payment. Payment can be made at any AXS Station.

CCE Hours

4 hours for attendance at Level 1

8 hours for attendance at both Levels 1 and 2
