BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global Tennis Coaches Conference

This event is the 2nd edition of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global Tennis Coaches Conference. The inaugural edition was held last year, in 2014.

This year’s event, themed ‘Transition to the Top’, consists of a full-day seminar followed by a half-day on-court demonstration with the world’s best coaches and industry experts. It will feature a holistic panel of established speakers including:

  • Patrick Mouratoglou – founder of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, he has also been coaching Serena Williams since September 2012 and helped guide her back to her current WTA World no. 1 ranking. Along the way, Serena won several key titles including a gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
  • Martina Navratilova – former athlete with 59 Grand Slam Titles. 8-time champion at WTA Singles Finals and 11-time champion at WTA Doubles Finals.
  • Carlos Alberto Kirmayr – former Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) #36 Singles and #5 Doubles player. He possesses international coaching experience and is also a member of the ATP Board of Directors, Guest Speaker at International Tennis Federation (ITF) workshops, TV tennis analyst and sports newspaper columnist
  • Kathy Martin – Senior Director (Athlete Assistance), WTA and Player Welfare Officer, ITF. As a mental health counsellor and sports physiotherapist, she has 30 years of experience in elite sports and expertise in the health and well-being needs of adolescent and young adult athletes.
  • Dr Marcus Lee – Head (Sports Biomechanist), Singapore Sports Institute. He holds a PhD in Biomechanics and Motor Control from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and currently works with Team Singapore athletes from numerous sports such as Water Polo, Bowling and Athletics.

Registration fees exclude GST and administration charges.

All registrants will each receive a pair of Category 2 tickets to the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global. Details on collection of match tickets will be announced separately.
