“Applications of Sports Physiology and Elite Strength and Conditioning” by Singapore Grand Prix

Singapore GP has invited Mr. Paul Haines from PERFORM to deliver a talk on application of sports psychology and elite strength and conditioning across different elite sports and athletes. PERFORM is a high performance exercise consulting business that develops tailored programmes for athletes to improve their performance and achieve success in their chosen sport.

Mr. Paul Haines has more than 15 years of experience in the domains of strength, conditioning and rehabilitation of elite athletes in a wide variety of sports such as basketball, cycling, football, motorsports, rugby and tennis. His key experiences include:

  • Worked in Formula 1 as Performance Coach for Daniel Ricciardo at Toro Rosso. Managed all aspects of Ricciardo’s training programme in conjunction with Toro Rosso management
  • Worked for three Australian Football League (AFL) clubs over a 12-year period. Helped Geelong Cats won two premierships in 2007 and 2009 as Head Fitness Coach
  • Supported Wallabies’ preparation for 2003 Rugby World Cup
  • Worked with 6-time V8 Supercar champion, Jamie Whincup
  • Worked with Tour de France winner for 2011, Cadel Evans

Mr. Paul Haines graduated as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement from the University of South Australia in 2001.
