Presentation Title: Effects of Ramadan Fasting on Athlete Performance – Recommendations for Training

This presentation looks at the application of the FITT (frequency, intensity, time and type) principle in the modification of training, nutrition and hydration.  In addition, the presentation will provide a number of key recommendations for coaches and student-athletes to help reduce the negative impact of fasting when training during Ramadan.
