Workshop in Motor Learning Development and Biomechanics

(For All NROC Coaches)

This workshop aims to equip participants with fundamental knowledge of applied sports biomechanics and how they may use it to assess sports skills for correct coaching / teaching feedback. Through this workshop, participants will learn various modes of analyses and simple underlying key concepts and strategies that would facilitate such an assessment systematically. They will also be introduced to lab and non-lab-based technologies that could simplify the process to capture and analyse the movement of sport skills. Both theory and practical components pertaining to applied sports biomechanics for human movement will be discussed.
