Sharing Session by Albirex Niigata Football Club

(For NROC Team Sports Coaches – priority will be given to NROC Football Coaches)

Description

Albirex Niigata Football Club (F.C.) is a highly successful football club currently playing in the Singapore Premier League (SPL). The club has won the SPL 3 times in a row (2016, 2017, 2018), as well the Singapore Cup 4 times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018); Singapore League Cup 4 times (2011, 2015, 2016, 2017) and the Singapore Community Shield 3 times (2016, 2017, 2018).

The club will be conducting a sharing session on:

  1. What makes Albirex Niigata F.C. successful?
  2. Coaching children in football
  3. Football-specific strength and conditioning (S&C)

Sub-topic (1) is a theory-based segment covering the various aspects of the club, e.g. team concept, attack and defence strategies, etc; sub-topics (2) and (3) will be practical-based sessions.

About the Presenters

This sharing session will be co-presented by:

  • Mr Keiji Shigetomi (Head Coach, Albirex Niigata F.C.) – What makes Albirex Niigata F.C. successful?
  • Mr Jun Hirabayshi (Coach, Albirex Niigata F.C.) – Coaching children in football
  • Mr Yuto Inabe (Sports Trainer, Albirex Niigata F.C.) – Football-specific S&C

Mr Koh Mui Tee (General Manager (GM), Albirex Niigata F.C.) will provide Japanese-to-English translation during the workshop.
