Goalkeeping and Physical Movement by Chelsea F.C. IDC Singapore

(For NROC Team Sports Coaches)

Description

This workshop will cover the following sub-topics:

  • Positioning and techniques for goalkeepers
  • Handling and distribution for goalkeepers
  • How to incorporate movement games into your training to develop FUNdamentals
  • Movement activities to develop Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed & Strength

About the Presenters

This workshop will be delivered by:

  • Mr Ryan Elton – Ryan is a UEFA ‘B’ Licence Coach who also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science. He has experience of working in a Premier League Academy from U9 to U23 age groups, and also previously held a professional contract for a Premier League club
  • Mr Gareth Owen – Gareth is a UEFA ‘B’ Licence coach and goalkeeping coach who formerly played for Wales U16 to U19 teams as a goalkeeper. He has experience of working in a Premier League Academy from U9 to U23 age groups, and also previously held a professional contract for a Premier League club
