‘Coaching Meets Collective Intelligence’ by CoachSG and NROC Coach

(For All NROC Coaches)

The objective(s) of this workshop are to:

  • Acknowledge the changing landscape in coaching
  • Help coaches understand that coaching goes beyond sports instruction
  • Discuss how to harness the collective intelligence of the individual or team

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Appreciate that the landscape of coaching had become challenging in this era: it’s not about being right or wrong, it’s about picking the actions most appropriate to your current context and create an identity and navigating in the ever-changing landscape
  • Acknowledge that coaching athletes and / or team (regardless of the team’s / athletes’ experience level) are now faced with challenges and understand that coaches will require different coaching approaches and think beyond sports instruction to tackle these challenges
  • Leverage on the collective intelligence of your teams and athletes to grow their effectiveness and performance
